Modern frame-and-sheathing partitions, despite their small thickness, have high 
soundproofing properties, while their weight is 5-10 times less than that of the
above-mentioned structures.

Wooden beams or metal slats are used as a frame. To improve sound insulation and
thermal protection, the space between the studs is filled with ROCKWOOL ACOUSTIC
BATTS boards. Drywall, plywood, and other materials are used for the sheathing.

Rockwool Acoustic Batts slabs are easy to work with: they can be carried and lifted
to the desired height manually, they are easily cut with a knife or hacksaw, they
can be shaped to the required dimensions, contours, and shapes, and they can be 
installed flush against building structures and against each other without creating
gaps.

## Soundproofing the ceiling:

 1. Floor slab;
 2. Direct suspension with ROCKWOOL sealing tape;
 3. Bearing profile;
 4. ROCKWOOL sealing tape
 5. Soundproofing ROCKWOOL (Acoustic BATTS boards);
 6. Facing panel.
