In sound-absorbing cladding and multilayer frame partition structures, the frame
stud profile (or beam) is typically installed at 600 mm intervals. Shumanet -BM 
boards are inserted into the sheathing cells. In acoustic suspended ceiling structures,
the boards are installed in the space between the suspended ceiling and the floor
slab. Shumanet -BM is installed behind the suspended ceiling or attached to the 
floor slabs using plastic “mushrooms” for attaching the insulation boards. When 
used in non-hermetic structures, to prevent the emission of material particles into
the environment, it is recommended to first wrap Shumanet -BM boards in a sound-
permeable non-woven fabric such as spunbond.
