Soundproofing membrane K-FONIK GK
Description
K-FONIK GK is a high-density, rubber-based elastomeric soundproofing material. It is used as a membrane in framed and frameless soundproofing systems for walls and ceilings. K-FONIK GK is based on components that ensure its properties remain intact throughout its entire service life. The material is also free of lead and harmful impurities and poses no health hazard. It is easy to work with, cuts easily, has no unpleasant odor, and is flame-resistant. Using K-FONIK GK in structures with other materials greatly enhances the system's soundproofing properties. Its applications are quite broad.
Due to its very high sound-insulating effect, the material has found wide application as:
- soundproofing of equipment housings;
- soundproofing of ventilation and air conditioning systems and ducts;
- soundproofing of internal drains, sewer pipes and other pipelines
K-FONIK GK produced in thicknesses of 2, 3 and 4 mm.
Installation can be accomplished using either mechanical fastening or adhesive. This is also available with a pre-applied adhesive layer (AD index).
