Heradesign ® wood panels

HERADESIGN are acoustic panels made of wood wool with a magnesite binder from Knauf Ceiling Solutions. Their natural wood texture, high mechanical strength, and excellent sound absorption make them popular for gyms, swimming pools, schools, restaurants, offices, and public spaces. Many panels are Cradle to Cradle certified.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Fine, Superfine and Macro?
Wood wool fiber thickness: Superfine – 1 mm, Fine – 2 mm, Macro – 3 mm. The finer the fiber, the smoother and more delicate the surface. Macro is the most durable and is often used in gyms.
Do wood wool panels burn?
Standard panels are classified as B-s1, d0 (flammability-resistant). For projects with higher requirements, the non-flammable HERADESIGN Fine A2 and Superfine A2 series are available, classified as A2-s1, d0.
What do the Alpha+ versions provide?
Acoustic fleece on the back increases sound absorption without increasing the panel thickness.
Can HERADESIGN be used on walls?
Yes, most panels are suitable for both ceilings and walls; for walls, there is a ready-made Wallcoustic element.
