HPL facade panels

Description

Arcobaleno HPL plastic panels for ventilated building facades

Laminated plastic TM Arcobaleno has found wide application for cladding building facades and during installation of ventilated facades.

HPL panels are an ideal self-supporting structural material with high strength, moisture resistance, wear and fire resistance, and UV resistance.

Facades finished with particleboard plastic panels are distinguished by their high thermal insulation properties and long service life, while maintaining their modern and aesthetic appearance.

AVAILABLE DIMENSIONS OF ARCOBALENO HPL PANELS

Length, width (mm) Thickness (mm)
3050×1320 4/6/8/10/12
4200×1320 4/6/8/10/12
3660×1600 4/6/8/10/12

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS

The panels are intended for cladding the external walls of buildings and structures for various purposes in the construction of façade systems, the suitability of which, using the products of the specified name, has been confirmed in the established manner, including by the results of fire hazard tests of the structures.

HPL panels can be used in the following environmental conditions:

  • humidity zone (according to SP 50.13330.2012) – dry, normal, wet;
  • degree of aggressiveness of the external environment (according to SP28.13330.2017) – slightly aggressive, moderately aggressive;
  • maximum temperature on the surface of the panels is plus 80°C;
  • minimum ambient temperature – minus 60°C.

The scope of application of panels according to fire requirements is determined based on the results of fire tests in accordance with the Technical Regulations on Fire Safety Requirements (Federal Law No. 123-FZ of July 22, 2008) and SP 2.13130.2020.

Fire hazard indicators of panels: – flammability group according to GOST 30244-94 – G1.

METHODS OF INSTALLING HPL PANELS ON VENTILATED FACADES

Panels can be attached to the façade using either visible or hidden methods. For visible fastening, self-tapping screws, collet anchors, or rivets with a corrosion-resistant steel core are recommended. When fastening panels, the fixed-point rule must be observed. The maximum distance between fastener holes, depending on the panel thickness, should be 600-900 mm longitudinally and 400-600 mm transversely. The minimum distance from the panel edge is 20 mm, and the maximum distance from the panel edge is 80 mm.

Fastening of panels with a thickness of at least 10 mm can be carried out in a “hidden” manner using hidden fastening anchors or self-tapping hidden fastening screws installed in blind holes on the back side of the panels.

ADVANTAGES OF HPL ARCOBALENO FACADE PLASTIC

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLINESS

HPL plastic is a completely safe material, containing no harmful components. Plastic panels are inert and non-toxic when heated.

VANDAL-PROOF PROPERTIES

Plastic HPL panels are easy to clean from inscriptions, graffiti, and building materials, which is important when decorating public and commercial spaces.

WEAR RESISTANCE, DURABILITY

Arcobaleno laminated plastic is distinguished by its long service life, resistance to mechanical impacts, contamination, temperature and humidity changes

UV RESISTANCE

Arcobaleno plastic is UV-resistant. Facades made from HPL panels do not fade or change color even in the hottest sun.

HYGIENIC, EASY TO CARE

The dense, uniform surface structure of HPL plastic makes it easy to clean, and the low porosity of the material prevents the growth of mold and bacteria.

FIRE HAZARD CLASS KM1

Panels made of laminated HPL plastic do not melt even when exposed to open flame for a long time, and their ignition temperature exceeds 600°C.
