Gyproc® Ceiling Guide Profile Gyproc-Ultra PPN 28/27 – 3000 mm
Description
A metal drywall profile is the foundation of the entire drywall structure; the rigidity, strength, and durability of drywall-based systems directly depend on the quality of the profile.
The Gyproc PP Ultra profile is highly durable, and structures built with it meet the highest performance requirements. Therefore, all Gyproc systems are installed exclusively using the Gyproc Ultra drywall profile.
The Gyproc PP Ultra profile is manufactured from high-quality cold-rolled galvanized steel using the patented UltraSteel technology. This technology uses UltraSteel rollers to create a unique ribbed shape on the smooth metal strip, giving the Gyproc Ultra profile its unique properties.
Features of the Gyproc rack profile:
- There’s no need to fasten Gyproc PP Ultra profiles together. The ribbed surface of the ceiling profiles for drywall holds the entire frame in place until the drywall is installed, saving you time and effort.
- The self-tapping screw can be easily screwed into any point of the Gyproc PP Ultra profile. The profile flange is additionally protected against deflection.
- Gyproc PP Ultra is 20% stronger than smooth profiles of similar thickness. The pull-out force of the screw (when hanging loads) is higher than that of a smooth profile.
Using the Gyproc PP Ultra metal profile for plasterboard not only guarantees a reliable and durable structure, but also increases installation speed several times over.
Description
The Gyproc-Ultra PPN 28/27 – 3000 mm profile is used for installing suspended ceiling frames and cladding, as well as other structures using Giproc gypsum boards. In practice, it is used in conjunction with a ceiling profile (PP). The PP is inserted into the PPN ceiling guide profile and, if necessary, secured with a punch. The PPN is secured to the supporting base using 6×40 mm dowels at 600 mm intervals.
