Shumanet-ECO Acoustic eco-friendly glass panel
Shumanet-ECO Acoustic eco-friendly glass panel
Shumanet-ECO acoustic glass panel is made of staple glass fiber. It has high sound-absorbing properties and is non-combustible (flammability category NG). It is used as a middle layer in framed sound-absorbing wall and ceiling structures, as well as in sound-insulated flooring on joists.
Description
The description of Shumanet-ECO begins with its fundamental difference from other similar sound absorbers: the absence of bakelite resins and the use of natural binders, guaranteeing its environmental safety. It is used in the construction of soundproofing floors over joists.
Scope of application
The Shumanet-ECO acoustic eco-friendly board is designed for use in soundproofing and sound-absorbing structures and is installed in the space formed by the surfaces of supporting structures, framing elements, and cladding. Shumanet-ECO’s technical characteristics and its eco-friendliness make it suitable for use in any space, including childcare facilities.
Compound
The staple fiberglass used as the main component of the board is treated with a water-repellent compound. The binder is made of acrylic, a completely safe and non-toxic substance.
Considering the board’s properties, its environmental safety, and the cost of Shumanet-ECO, its advantages over similar materials from other manufacturers become clear:
- Professional soundproofing;
- Eco-friendly product;
- Non-flammable material.

Shumanet-ECO boards are installed within the frame of a partition, cladding, or suspended ceiling structure.
In acoustic suspended ceiling structures, the boards are installed in the space between the suspended ceiling and the floor slab.
The boards can be mounted to the floor slabs using plastic “mushrooms” for securing the insulation boards.
When used in non-hermetic structures, to prevent the release of material particles into the environment, it is recommended to first wrap the boards in a sound-permeable non-woven spunbond fabric.
To protect your hands when handling Shumanet-ECO boards, we recommend wearing cotton gloves.
