Soundline-dB Soundproofing Triplex
Soundline-dB Soundproofing Triplex
Acoustic triplex SOUNDLINE-dB is a specialized three-layer material for the installation of soundproofing sheathing for frame partitions, cladding, and suspended ceilings.
Application area:
It is used for the installation of soundproofing sheathing for frame partitions, cladding and suspended ceilings.
Compound:
It consists of two heavyweight moisture-resistant gypsum fiber sheets (GVLVU) 8 mm thick, connected to each other by an elastic layer of a special sealant.
Eco-friendliness
Soundline-dB soundproofing triplex has passed laboratory testing of a sample of products and received EcoMaterial 2.0 certification, confirming its safety for humans.
ECO Material is a voluntary environmental certification system for building and finishing materials.
Distinctive features:
- environmentally friendly – based on gypsum fiber boards
- fireproof – class KM1
- unique soundproofing of partitions – up to 68 dB
- Saves on installation – replaces 2 layers of plasterboard
- the total thickness of the acoustic triplex is 16.5 mm
- high airborne noise insulation performance
- stability of vibroacoustic properties over a long period of time (more than 25 years)

Description
Physical and technical characteristics:
Dimensions: 1200 x 1200 x 16.5 mm
Surface density: 19.5 kg/m²
Panel weight: 30 kg
Acoustic characteristics:
Due to the elastic connection between the separated rigid layers, acoustic triplex exhibits higher sound insulation in the operating frequency range compared to a gypsum fiber sheet of equal surface density. This is due to the shift of the cutoff frequency (at which a dip in sound insulation occurs) to the region of higher frequencies, where the wave coincidence effect does not have a significant impact on the sound insulation of the structure.
SOUNDLINE-dB acoustic triplex sheets are mounted onto the metal frame of a partition, cladding, or suspended ceiling using self-tapping screws for gypsum fiber boards, and then covered with a finishing layer of ACULINE gypsum boards, overlapping the joints.
