Types of suspended ceilings
Armstrong ceiling (modular 600×600)
The most popular suspended ceiling is a T-24 or T-15 frame and 600×600 mm panels. It's inexpensive, quick to install, and provides access to utilities. Instead of simple mineral fiber panels, you can use Rockfon or AMF THERMATEX acoustic panels with sound absorption class A. Profiles are available in the Ceiling Systems section.
Grillato ceiling
An open lattice structure for retail spaces, train stations, lobbies, and cafes. It visually increases height without interfering with ventilation or sprinklers. Available in both classic and pyramidal designs.
Slatted ceiling
Metal slats (including Kraft Cube and the “louvered” screen ceiling) are suitable for bathrooms, hallways, facade canopies, and entryways. They are moisture-resistant and easy to clean.
Cassette metal ceiling
Armstrong-type metal cassettes are suitable for corridors, clinics, and clean rooms; BIOGUARD antibacterial coatings are available.
Plasterboard ceiling with shadow profile
A smooth, seamless surface with a KRAAB shadow gap instead of a skirting board.
How to choose a suspended ceiling
- Office, school, meeting room – modular ceiling with class A acoustic panels (αw 0.9–1.0).
- Wet rooms, kitchens, swimming pools – moisture-resistant Rockfon Hygienic boards or metal ceilings.
- Clinic – medical and hygienic ceilings.
