Description
Gyproc Multicomfort gypsum plasterboard is an impact-resistant and vapor-permeable board designed for metal-frame partitions, cladding, and suspended ceilings. The material consists of a fiberglass-reinforced gypsum core with special additives, faced with cardboard. Structures made with Gyproc Multicomfort boards are lightweight, durable, and capable of naturally regulating indoor humidity.
Advantages
- High sound insulation characteristics (for example, the S-2M50-2 Multicomfort partition has a noise insulation index of 62 dB) are achieved due to the density and strength of the board;
- Thanks to the special cardboard, the slabs have fire ratings of G1, B2 (B1 when Giprok Fast-60 putty is applied to a surface with a thickness of 0.5 mm), D1, T1, RP1, which makes it possible to use them on escape routes and in halls (depending on requirements);
- The high fire resistance of the boards allows them to be used in fire barriers;
- The use of the boards is possible for soundproofing in wet areas (kitchens, bathrooms, showers), due to their increased moisture resistance;
- Saving putty when filling seams due to the special shape of the Pro-edge edge, which allows for a 50% increase in seam strength (compared to the PLUK edge);
- The ability to hang heavy objects, high impact resistance and increased strength due to the increased strength characteristics of the slabs and the hardness of the front surface.
Description
- It is used indoors in any type of premises with dry, normal and humid humidity conditions (according to SNiP 23-02-2003 or SP 50.13330.2012), where the finishing requires increased requirements for surface quality, impact resistance, moisture and fire resistance and sound insulation:
- Wall cladding using frame method;
- Construction of partitions on a metal frame filled with mineral wool;
- Installation of suspended ceilings;
- Creation of various decorative elements: boxes, cornices, etc.
- Sheathing of attics and other finishing works.
