Typically, slats up to 4 meters long are used during installation. Therefore, for longer slatted ceilings, slat connectors are necessary. They provide the suspended ceiling with the necessary rigidity and integrity.

If the slatted suspended ceiling is a free-hanging structure and a wall profile is not used for design purposes, then the ends of the slats must be covered with special plugs.

If the area of the suspended slatted ceiling is large, in order to give the structure strength, the load-bearing crossbars can be connected to each other using special connectors.

When installing multi-level designer slatted ceilings, the supporting crossbars can be connected to each other using threaded studs.

UNIVERSAL MOUNT FOR CUBIC RAIL ( SINGLE CROSSBEAM)

With the new fastening, the possibilities of using the cube-shaped rail are significantly expanded.

A new universal mount for cube-shaped rails was developed by our design bureau at the end of 2018. We began production in 2019.

We produce battens in two widths: 35 and 88 mm. The bracket fits both types of battens—its dimensions are 35 x 88 mm—so depending on the batten’s orientation (horizontal or vertical), you can install the batten of your desired width.

This type of mounting has several advantages over crossbar mounting:
• the batten can be positioned anywhere on the ceiling or wall;
• no need to be limited to the plane of the crossbar – battens can be installed at various angles to each other;
• you are not tied to the crossbar module – any batten pitch is possible;
• space savings – no hangers or crossbar required;
• a neat appearance;
• additional options for creating designer ceilings.

Using slats of varying heights (from 35 to 105 mm), you can create voluminous multi-level solutions. KRAFT ³ is fully compatible with the KRAFT LED lighting system.
