Rockfon ® Sonar® Bas – Acoustic Ceilings

Rockfon Sonar Bas panels are recommended for spaces requiring high sound reflection in specific areas, such as auditoriums and conference rooms. Rockfon Sonar Bas panels feature a special surface that provides high sound absorption at low frequencies and lower sound absorption at high frequencies. Rockfon Sonar Bas panels are distinguished by their attractive aesthetics, high-quality manufacturing, and durability.

Stone wool panel
Surface: White, micro-relief surface provides high sound absorption at low frequencies and lower sound absorption at high frequencies.

Sound absorption is measured in accordance with ISO 354.

Sound absorption data αp, αw and absorption class are calculated in accordance with ISO 11654. Sound absorption properties of islands and baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area Aeq expressed as m² per item.

Fire safety A1, (EN 13501-1)
Fire hazard class – KM1 (Federal Law No. 123) (EN 13501-1)

Reflection and scattering of light

light reflection 85%

Moisture resistance Up to 100% relative air humidity.
No visible sagging at high air humidity.

Cleaning Vacuum cleaner, soft cloth

Hygiene Stone wool has no nutritional value, therefore it does not support the development of harmful microorganisms.

Environment  Fully recyclable product

Indoor environment A selection of Rockfon products have been awarded the M1 (Finland) particle emission class for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label (Denmark) – a symbol for the indoor climate of products with low particle emissions.
