Scope of application
This material is designed to fill cavities between supporting structures and sheet cladding during the installation of frame structures in residential and industrial buildings. The high sound absorption characteristics Shumanet -BM allow for effective sound insulation with minimal weight gain.

In sound-absorbing cladding and multilayer frame partition structures, the frame stud profile (or beam) is typically installed at 600 mm intervals. Shumanet -BM boards are inserted into the sheathing cells. In acoustic suspended ceiling structures, the boards are installed in the space between the suspended ceiling and the floor slab. Shumanet -BM is installed behind the suspended ceiling or attached to the floor slabs using plastic “mushrooms” for attaching the insulation boards. When used in non-hermetic structures, to prevent the emission of material particles into the environment, it is recommended to first wrap Shumanet -BM boards in a sound-permeable non-woven fabric such as spunbond.
