Acoustic ceilings in Tashkent
An acoustic ceiling is a suspended ceiling made of sound-absorbing panels that reduces echo and noise in a room. Since 2008, IN TECH STROY has been supplying and installing Rockfon, Ecophon, Knauf Ceiling Solutions (AMF THERMATEX, Armstrong), and HERADESIGN acoustic ceilings in Tashkent for offices, schools, clinics, hotels, airports, and auditoriums.

- Rockfon – stone wool, non-combustible (A1), moisture-resistant; Blanka, Sonar, Koral, Tropic, Artic, MediCare, Hygienic series.
- Ecophon – glass wool, high sound absorption with low weight; Master, Focus, Industry series.

Key figures
- Sound absorption class A means αw 0.90–1.00: the panel absorbs 90–100% of the incident sound.
- For offices and classrooms, class A slabs are chosen, while class C is sufficient for corridors and utility rooms.
- If sound insulation is also needed between the rooms, use boards with increased Dn,f,w (for example, Rockfon Blanka dB or AMF THERMATEX Acoustic dB).

- School, gym – shock-resistant Rockfon Boxer and Samson, HERADESIGN.

Edging and installation
Acoustic panels are available with different edges: A (visible frame), E or Tegular (semi-concealed frame, panel slightly recessed), D/AEX, or concealed installation. The edge determines the ceiling’s appearance and compatibility with T-15 or T-24 frames. If the frame is already installed, we will select panels with a suitable edge—no need to change the profile.

Frequently asked questions
How is an acoustic ceiling different from a regular Armstrong ceiling?
They are similar in appearance and are mounted in the same 600×600 mm frame. Standard panels absorb almost no sound, while Class A acoustic panels absorb up to 90–100% of sound and significantly reduce echo.
Which brand is better: Rockfon, Ecophon or AMF?
Rockfon is a non-combustible stone wool for any space, including wet areas. Ecophon is a lightweight glass fiber board with high sound absorption. AMF offers the optimal balance of price and performance. We’ll find the right brand for your project and budget.
Can acoustic panels be installed into an existing ceiling?
Yes, if the frame is standard (T-24 or T-15). Simply replace the old panels with acoustic panels with matching edges.
