Temperature and humidity conditions:
During storage, installation and operation of Decoustic panels, the humidity and air temperature in the room must meet the following parameters:
- relative humidity in the room: 40 – 60%;
- indoor temperature range: +12 to +24 °C.
Acclimatization:
Panels should be stored horizontally in a dry, moisture-free area. Before installation, Decoustic panels should be left in the room where they will be installed for 4-7 days to acclimatize. This ensures the panels’ dimensional stability in accordance with the humidity and temperature in the room being renovated.
Cleaning:
To remove dust from the panels, use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment. Avoid using short-bristled cleaning attachments. The panel surface can be wiped with a damp cloth and then dried with a soft, dry cloth. Gentle furniture cleaners are also acceptable.
Installation:
To ensure maximum sound absorption, Decoustic perforated acoustic panels should be installed on a foundation. The two-tier frame is assembled from PP 60/27, PPN 28/27, and 85×25 mm OP profiles. Sound-absorbing material such as Shumanet-ECO is placed between the strut profiles. The panels are secured to the frame using special D-clips and decorative aluminum profiles. The tongue-and-groove system allows for quick and easy installation, without visible joints, in a single panel across the entire wall and ceiling, or in sections.
