Rockfon Boxer panels are used in hallways, lobbies, kindergartens, schools, and sports and play areas—anywhere noise reduction is essential, as well as in spaces with high sound absorption and impact resistance requirements. Boxer panels combine the aesthetics of a white surface with increased impact resistance. The panel surface is reinforced with a special mesh, making it impact-resistant.
Stone wool panel
Surface: micro-relief white surface
Sound absorption is measured in accordance with ISO 354.
Sound absorption data α p, α w and absorption class are calculated in accordance with ISO 11654. Sound absorption properties of islands and baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area A eq expressed as m² per item.
Fire safety A1, (EN 13501-1) Fire hazard class – KM1 (Federal Law No. 123) (EN 13501-1)
Reflection and scattering of light 85%
Moisture resistance Up to 100% relative air humidity. No visible sagging at high air humidity.
Cleaning: Vacuum cleaner, soft cloth
Hygiene Stone wool has no nutritional value, therefore it does not support the development of harmful microorganisms.
Environment Fully recyclable product
Indoor environment A selection of Rockfon products have been awarded the M1 (Finland) particle emission class for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label (Denmark) – a symbol for the indoor climate of products with low particle emissions.
Impact resistance 20 mm: Class 3A (Rockfon System T24 A Impact 2A/3A)_break_ 40 mm: Class 1A (Rockfon System OlympiaPlus A Impact 1A)_break_ 40 mm: Class 2A (Rockfon System T24 A Impact 2A/3A)_break_ Measured according to EN13964-Part D. The impact classification confirms the ability of a system to withstand random or repeated impacts.
