A water-repellent, durable, and specially treated surface for use in humid environments.
High Class A sound absorption and high fire safety rating (Class A1/KM1).
A-edge is available in standard sizes.
The surface is pressure-cleanable.
Moisture resistance – up to 100% relative humidity.
Stone wool panel
Front side: white surface with a special high-strength coating
Back side: fiberglass
Painted edges
Sound absorption is measured in accordance with ISO 354.
Sound absorption data α p, α w and absorption class are calculated in accordance with ISO 11654. Sound absorption properties of islands and baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area A eq expressed as m² per item.
Fire safety A1, (EN 13501-1) Fire hazard class – KM1 (Federal Law No. 123) (EN 13501-1)
Reflection and scattering of light
light reflection 85%
Moisture resistance: Up to 100% relative humidity. No visible sagging at high humidity.
Surface durability Increased strength and dirt resistance
Cleaning: Vacuum cleaner, Soft cloth, Dry cleaning with steam (twice a year), Chemical resistance: Resistant to diluted solutions of ammonia, chlorine, quaternary ammonium and hydrogen peroxide., With a foam solution at low pressure., At high pressure: not exceeding 80 bar, at a distance of at least 1 meter, with the water directed at an angle of 30 °. Ceiling panels must be pressed with clips to the profiles of the suspension system and fixed with silicone sealant containing fungicide.
Hygiene Stone wool has no nutritional value, therefore it does not support the development of harmful microorganisms.
Environment Fully recyclable product
Indoor environment A selection of Rockfon products have been awarded the M1 (Finland) particle emission class for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label (Denmark) – a symbol for the indoor climate of products with low particle emissions.
