The entry-level ZIPS-POL Vector prefabricated soundproofing panel system is an effective solution for additional soundproofing between floors. It completely addresses impact noise insulation issues while simultaneously increasing the insulation against airborne household noise, including speech, barking dogs, low-power TV and radio equipment, and the like (the system’s operating range for airborne noise insulation is from 100 Hz).
The ZIPS-POL Vector panel system is a relatively thin structure designed for soundproofing reinforced concrete floors between floors in buildings with low noise levels. The panels effectively reduce airborne noise across a wide frequency range and also provide highly effective protection against impact noise caused by footsteps, falling objects, and moving objects.
Scope of application
ZIPS-POL Vector is used for additional soundproofing of floors during construction and renovation work and can be installed directly on reinforced concrete floors. Installation of the system requires no wet work, making it a popular choice for residential renovations.
Compound
ZIPS-POL Vector is a two-layer panel consisting of a layer of staple fiberglass, gypsum fiberboard sheets, and vibration-isolating supports made of Sylomer polyurethane foam, which serve to eliminate rigid connections to the floor. Soundline-dB gypsum fiberboard sheets are screwed onto the panels, followed by a finishing layer of 18 mm thick plywood, which is screwed onto a special elastic mastic. The panel thickness is 50 mm.

Storage
ZIPS-Pol panels should be stored in dry, enclosed spaces, protected from precipitation. The panels should be placed on wooden pallets, planks, or other support materials without sagging.

Impact and airborne noise insulation According to full-scale tests, taking into account indirect sound transmission paths, the impact noise reduction index of the ZIPS-POL Vector prefabricated panel system is ΔLn,w = 28 dB. According to full-scale tests, taking into account indirect sound transmission paths, the additional airborne noise insulation index of the ZIPS-POL Vector panel system is ΔRw = 6 – 8 dB.
The ZIPS-POL Vector prefabricated panel system is installed in strict accordance with the “ Installation Instructions ”.
